Charcoal on Velin BFK Rives Blanc 300g/m2 paper (Schmincke Fixer 50-402)
920 x 1100 mmThe drawing shows the control room of a nuclear power plant. The modules, oriented like an altar towards the operator, allow the energy production process to be monitored and supervised. In contrast to a church altarpiece, the form and organisation of the innumerable indicators, light indicators and other components, arranged in a non-hierarchical order, do not establish a narrative. Each element conveys in a fragmented way information about a process whose origin lies in the modification of the atom's nucleus.
