Manuel Rivera is one of the most significant artists of Spanish abstraction of the second half of the last century in addition to being one of the founders of the El Paso group.
The metal mesh networks as artistic support are undoubtedly the most characteristic feature of his production.
In this work on paper the metal mesh metamorphoses into the weave of the fabric and the strokes of ink.
